The Arlington Libraries Foundation exists to raise awareness of the role of the libraries in Arlington, Massachusetts and raise funds to support their work.
The Foundation seeks to create ways to build a legacy for the libraries and create ongoing sources of support. This is achieved in a number of ways including:
An annual campaign to support purchases of materials for the Robbins and the Fox libraries
An annual campaign to open the Robbins Library on Sundays from October to May (when required)
Creating endowed funds and named funds at the request of donors
Providing a structure for bequests
Collaborating with the Library, the Library Trustees, the Friends Organizations of the Robbins and the Fox to generate support for strengthening our libraries
The Foundation is a 501(c)3 and all donations to the Foundation are tax deductible.
